Abstract

We describe the public Rust server test, reached at 109.207.198.163:28015. It is offline at the last check, against a seven-day mean of 0 and a peak of 11. It ranks #9,947 of all servers, the top 45%. It makes a new world every few hours (6 this week), so it keeps no wipe schedule.

2Population

Figure 1 follows the players on the server at three scales: every five minutes over two hours, the hourly mean and peak over 48 hours, and the daily mean and peak over 90 days. Dashed uprights mark its wipes.

No hourly history yet.

3Performance

We query the server directly for its frame rate, entity count and memory4. Low frames per second and a climbing entity count are what players feel as lag (Figure 2).

4Rank

The server stands in the top 45% of all ranked servers. Rank is on player hours over the last seven days, and 1 is best; Figure 3 draws it day by day.

About the server

A.1In which location is test based?

A region is not published by test. Rust Statistics does not look up the machine's location; it shows where the server says it is. You will find it at 109.207.198.163:28015.

A.2What is the reliability of test, and is it online?

test is currently offline, with the last sighting 2 days 5 hours ago. Of the 72 hours in the last 3 full days, 2 were served, an availability of 3%. It was first observed on 26 October 2026 by Rust Statistics.

A.3What version of Rust is run on test?

test is running Rust network protocol 2635 and build 168909 on the Windows operating system. Joining requires your game to be on the same protocol, and Steam updates it automatically.

Wipe timing

A.4What schedule does test follow for wipes?

A new world is created every few hours by test. Since none of these resets qualifies as a wipe, no wipe schedule exists.

Population

A.5What position does test occupy in the ranking of Rust servers?

Ranked by player hours across seven days, test holds #9,947, in the top 45% of all ranked servers.

A.6How would you characterise the player activity on test?

At this moment test is offline, having last been seen 2 days 5 hours ago. Averaged over the last seven days: 0 players; the same period peaks at 1.

Tags and filters

A.7How should the tags on test be interpreted?

Tags from test, read by the game's server browser, are gmrust (Game mode): Rust survival, in its standard form; mp1 (Max players): The slot count is 1; ts5 (Group limit): Teams are capped at 5; v2635 (Protocol): Your game must run protocol 2635 to connect; cs168909 (Build): This server runs game build 168909; ptrak (Networking): Networking runs on RakNet, the game's standard layer; $r? (Region code): A region code has not been set; ^o (Oxide): Plugins are handled by Oxide (uMod); ^z (Modded): Modded listing: plugins or settings modify the game. Also in the tags: players now, the queue, and when the world was made; these appear at the top of this page.

A.8Where can test be found among the Rust Statistics lists and filters?

These Rust Statistics lists include test: Modded Rust servers. It appears under the following filters on the server list: Type: Modded; Server tag: Modded ^z and Oxide ^o; Group limit: 5 or more; Last wipe: In the last 3 days.

Settings and map

A.9What are the settings and rules that govern test?

The name of test states no gather rate. A group holds at most 5 players. Listed as survival, the game mode is gathering, building and raiding, as the game is usually played. Combat and raiding against other players are allowed. It appears under Modded in the browser: the game is changed by plugins or settings. Oxide plugins are running. VAC, Valve's anti-cheat, is enabled.

A.10What map is in use on test?

A procedural map, generated by the game, is what test runs.

Connection

A.11What is the process for joining test?

Press F1 inside Rust to open the console and enter client.connect 109.207.198.163:28015. Alternatively, the Launch Rust and join control on this page launches the game via Steam and completes the connection.
