Modded Rust servers

By the tab it is listed in, not by inspecting its plugins. Facepunch requires servers that alter gameplay to sit in the Modded tab, so that is the classification we record. Admin and chat-only plugins do not trigger it. A server that raises rates while staying in the Community tab is breaking that rule, and our data cannot detect it.

The rate is read from the server name, and some owners do not put it there. A blank rate is missing information, not a 1x server; on a modded listing the multiplier could be anything above vanilla. The server's own page may carry clues in its description or wipe history. Treat a blank as unknown and verify before you invest time in a base.

Not necessarily. The monthly force wipe on the first Thursday resets the map for every server, but each owner decides separately whether blueprints go with it. Some wipe both, some keep blueprints across map wipes. Neither our table nor the server tab tells you which; the server's page or its own description does.

By recorded population at the last refresh, so the order reflects who is playing now, not reputation. A server can sit near the top on wipe day and fall back within hours. For a steadier measure, sort by Rank, which uses population across the week rather than one reading. Wipe estimates and gather rates are shown beside each name so the population figure is not read alone.
