2Population

Figure 1 follows the players on the server at three scales: every five minutes over two hours, the hourly mean and peak over 48 hours, and the daily mean and peak over 90 days. Dashed uprights mark its wipes.

No hourly history yet.

3Performance

We query the server directly for its frame rate, entity count and memory4. Low frames per second and a climbing entity count are what players feel as lag (Figure 2).

4Rank

The server stands in the top 70% of all ranked servers. Rank is on player hours over the last seven days, and 1 is best; Figure 3 draws it day by day.

About the server

A.1What location does testing have?

There is no region published for testing. Rust Statistics does not look up the machine's location; it shows where the server says it is. You will find it at 185.189.255.249:35400.

A.2How reliable is testing, and is it currently online?

testing is currently offline, with the last sighting 29 days 7 hours ago. Its uptime over the last full days (7 days) was 0%, with 0 of 168 hours online. It was first observed on 20 September 2026 by Rust Statistics.

A.3What is the Rust version for testing?

Rust network protocol 2633 and build 165217 is the version that testing runs, on Windows. Joining requires your game to be on the same protocol, and Steam updates it automatically.

Wipe timing

A.4What schedule does testing follow for wipes?

Because too few wipes of testing are recorded to confirm the schedule, the tag governs the prediction. The server is due to wipe on Tuesday 3 November at 11:31 UTC. The world currently in use was created 30 days 11 hours ago. The tags state that wipes occur weekly.

A.5How would you describe wipe day on testing?

Recent wipes saw an average peak of 2 players. The crowd reached its maximum 1 hours after the latest wipe. Half the peak was sustained until the next wipe in 100% of recent wipes.

Player count

A.6What is the rank of testing among Rust servers?

The seven-day player-hours ranking puts testing at #16,773, within the top 70% of ranked servers.

A.7What is the population level of testing?

At this moment testing is offline, having last been seen 29 days 7 hours ago.

Tags, lists

A.8What do the tags associated with testing signify?

gmvanilla (Game mode): The mode is vanilla survival; mp50 (Max players): 50 slots are available; ts5 (Group limit): A team holds no more than 5; v2633 (Protocol): Your game must run protocol 2633 to connect; cs165217 (Build): Build 165217 is the one running; ptrak (Networking): RakNet is the network layer here, as it is by default in the game; $r? (Region code): A region code has not been set; ^w (Weekly): A weekly wipe cycle applies; ^o (Oxide): Plugins are handled by Oxide (uMod); ^z (Modded): The game is altered by plugins or settings, so it is listed as Modded: these are the tags testing publishes, and the server browser reads them. Current players, queue and the world's creation time are among the tags as well, displayed at the top of this page.

A.9Where can testing be found among the Rust Statistics lists and filters?

The Rust Statistics lists that testing fits are: Modded Rust servers. These filters on the server list return it: Type: Modded; Server tag: Weekly ^w, Modded ^z and Oxide ^o; Group limit: 5 or more; Wipe schedule: Weekly.

Settings and map

A.10Which settings and rules are in force on testing?

Its name carries no gather rate for testing. A group holds at most 5 players. The mode is survival, which means gathering, building and raiding, as the game is usually played. Fighting and raiding between players are both permitted. The server browser lists it as Modded, where plugins or settings alter the game. The plugin count is Oxide. VAC, Valve's anti-cheat, is enabled.

A.11On which map does testing take place?

The game generates testing's procedural map at size 2,500, from seed 53296983. Size and seed being equal, the map is the same, so it can be viewed on RustMaps from this page.

Connection

A.12How do you connect to testing?

Enter client.connect 185.189.255.249:35400 in the Rust console, reached by pressing F1 after starting the game. Or press Launch Rust and join here, which opens Rust through Steam and connects you.
